ONHOA Vision, Mission & Values
Vision
We envision a community of neighbors working together in private, voluntary association to achieve a higher quality of life and increasing property values. We envision a neighborhood that is considered by residents and non-residents alike to be a desirable place in which to live and enjoy the benefits of family, friends and community.

Mission
Our mission is to enhance and preserve the quality of life in our neighborhood through effective and efficient management of the Association, enforcement of rules and covenants to preserve property values and support of initiatives that strengthen bonds among residents.

Values
In fulfilling our mission and achieving our vision we value honesty, fairness, consistent firmness, equity, common sense, participation, respect, cooperation, and neighborliness in all our actions.
ONHOA - What We Do
The ONHOA executes on our Vision of  achieving a higher quality of life and increasing property values by:
  • maintaining aesthetically consistent and pleasing home exteriors through our Architectural Control Committee (ACC),
  • hosting the Annual Meeting and resident reception in late January which includes Board presentations and guest speakers,
  • hosts either a Spring or Fall picnic,
  • maintains this website,
  • monitors safety issues and keeps residents informed of any occurrences,
  • has a landscape liaison that works with the Town to maintain the common area plantings,
  • monitors resident compliance with the HOA’s  CCR’s,
  • and provides Holiday tree lighting throughout the neighborhood during December.
Most of all we offer a welcoming, and helpful hand to all the residents in Oaks North.
Oaks North Addison, an addition to the Town of Addison, was platted on January 15, 1979, by developer Montfort Corporation. The construction period of 118 homes and common areas spanned approximately 25 years (1979 – 2004).  All of the houses are zero-lot-line homes and all are of a traditional architectural style.

Our community is designed with generous well-landscaped common areas and limited vehicular access. The Town of Addison owns all common areas and provides maintenance thereon including landscaping and lighting. Our homes are primarily owner occupied with a small number of long-term rentals.

Oaks North Homeowner’s Association, Inc. (ONHOA) is a non-profit corporation originally incorporated on September 17, 1984.  Each homeowner is a Member of the ONHOA.
